About Me

I was always fascinated by the ability that art gives us to become makers; if we can dream it, we can draw it to life.

Since I was a teenager, I used to try and start drawing but never knew what to draw. In 2021, at 22, I found my inspiration in one-line drawings while doing a two-week drawing challenge and I haven't looked back since.

I'm Lebanese and I live in London, working as a technology consultant during the day. I spend my evenings absorbed in art, tech, dungeons & dragons, philosophy and sports.

I hope to one day retire to art, spending all my time painting my happy places and sharing them with anyone who'll sit and listen.

How Lineart Came to Be

Close your eyes, take a deep breath, then picture your happy place. Now imagine a drawing taking you on that same journey.

In 2020, I needed a reminder of those feelings of calm and joy. I wanted to take people on journeys to happy places, so I started drawing moments which capture those feelings. It started with flowers and animals, then it grew to be a collection of dozens of moments; from animals embracing, to elegant dancers and surreal pictures which can't really be described with words.

All the designs were made with a single line. Like every story we tell, it has two points - a start and an end - and a journey in between.

Every time a loved one saw my drawings, they'd smile and trace along the line from start to finish, their smile getting wider the further they went. For a moment, nothing mattered except enjoying what was in front of us. I wanted to share these moments of mindfulness and joy with the rest of the world, and that's how Lineart came to be.

So take a deep breath, sit with me, choose your happy place, and enjoy the journey.
